Nissan Repair: 1988 nissan pick-up, fuel treatment, z24

I have a 1988 Z24 nissan pick-up. the problem is when i start it it sputters and it usually will stay started but alot of the times it will die right of the bat. when it does this it will die if i put it in to nuetral going down the road. and once i drive it for about 15-20 miles i doesnt do it anymore can you help me?

I would check the tune of the engine.  That is, the spark plugs are new as well as the wires, cap and rotor.  Also, the fuel filter is good and you have good gas, as in premium along with a fuel treatment and a clean air filter.  After that check the timing and that the throttle body is clean.  Check these out and email me back with what you discover after you have done a complete tune up as described above.
