Nissan Repair: 01 Nissan Xterra, nissan xterra, pencil eraser

My odometer, fuel gauge, tach and basically my whole dashboard just stopped working. I checked all the fuses but they were fine do you know what the problem is?

Remove the instrument cluster and clean the harness connector and the connection on the cluster with a number 2 pencil eraser.  Blow off the dust and reconnect.  If this does not do the trick you are going to need a replacement cluster from your local wrecking yard.  A rebuilt cluster is around $300 bucks depending on where you source it.  On line there are several stores that sell remanufactured clusters.
