how do you replace heater blower fan on 2001 nissan maxima

Hi Ollie -

The fan is located passenger side under the dash. It is usually held by about 5 screws, I think 8MM or 10MM. You will see them in a hex pattern if you look under the dash.

Remove the terminal and drain hose. Undo the screws and remove the assembly slowly, you may have to angle it, or remove other items like the kick panel to gain access. Once the assembly is out, carefully remove the fan wheel, as you will have to reuse it.

Install is the reverse of removal
