Nissan Repair: 99 maxima.check light flashing, first hope, light flash

I have a 99 maxima and has no problems with the car,at all untill today when comming from work all the sudden the car was jurking a littlebit caused by  the rpms (where shifting up and down 100 or so) then when I would accelerate my checklight started flashing and then went off. Car wasn't making  noise,no knocking no nothing...just jurking a bit,not every time I accelerate dose the light flash,only when I accelerate hard,but it dose always jurk/shake a little .I know because the checklight didn't stay on if I take it to get checked it will be hard to find the problem. It almost feel like it starts pulling harder sometimes when I'm goin  a stedy speed..Any ideas? Thankyou.

There could be many things causing your engine light to come on. Hundreds of sensors in your car. The best thing is to take it to a dependable place and get the diagnostic done. this will provide an engine code and tell you what is wrong. Autozone is a good place.

It couls be a plugged exhaust, maybe catalytic converter, or even somehting simple like spark plugs, wires, or carbon tracking on the distributor cap. Might want to check those first.
