Nissan Repair: door locks, keyless entry dont work, nissan maxima se, nissan maxima

I have a 2000 nissan maxima se.  Yesterday the service engine light came on and then today the doors wont lock with the keyless remote and i replaced the battery and it still doesnt work.  Check the fuses and all are fine.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

The keyless entry and the check engine are not related.  If you have another remote check to see if it works.  Your remote has probably failed.  Also, have the check engine light checked at Aitozone or Checker for free.  They will read the code and let you know what the problem is.  If you need more please email be back.
