Nissan Repair: 1999 Altima Transmission, nissan altima, bolt size

Hello Von,
In regards to the automatic transmission on a 1999 Nissan Altima...the 11 bolts on the transmission filter are simple to remove, but how do I remove the CENTER NUT from the filter?  When I try to loosen it, all it does is spin, but never comes loose.  Thank you.

Sounds like the bolt is stripped.  You will need to gently pull down on the filter as you unscrew the bolt.  If that fails, you are looking at wedging a screwdriver under the bolt head and continue the process.  I would tap the hole and use a Helicoil for the particular bolt size when you replace the filter.
