Nissan Repair: 94 pathfinder no spark, distributor cap, last nite

Last nite i swamped my truck, the water came into the truck just level with the driver and pasenger seat, nothing under the hood got wet, everything works but i have no spark, its still drying so im thinkin maybe itll work in a few days of drying. just wondering if you knew wat might be goin on, Thanks alot Guy

Hi Guy -

Most likely it is the distributor cap, have you tried to remove it and dry it out? Even if it did not really get wet, if the outside did, there could be condensation.

I would also check the ignition module. This is also located in the distributor.
