Nissan Repair: need help on nissan fuel pump, vent port, fuel feed

replaced fuel pump 1983 sentra 1.6 part new has 3 ports intake out and vent whaat do i do with the vent port cause gas comes out rapedly

If the new pump has an additional port you will have to figure out what it is for.  If it has fuel pressure you will need to block it off or get a tee and tie it to your fuel feed line.  The vent should have no pressure coming from it as it is for the vapor recovery system.
