Nissan Repair: nissan maxima starting problem, nissan maxima, computer battery

Question
first thing in the morning I would start the car and didn't really have a problem starting it.  But when it warmed up it would take a bit to get it started.  Changed out the fuel filter, then took it to the local mechanic. They changed out the fuel pump and sensor.  Came back worse than when it went in.  The mechanic thought it might be the computer.  Battery is good.  Haven't changed out spark plugs yet checked fuel injectors.  Any ideas.  Thank you.

Answer
Hi Nathan -

If the engine has trouble starting when warm, and OK when cold, then it is probably the ignition module. This is located in the distributor. It operates under extreme heat to begin with, and when it starts to go bad, fails when the engine reaches operating temp.

Hope this helps -
