Nissan Repair: Nissan Pulsar 1990, Wont Turn Over, nissan pulsar vector, nissan pulsar 1990

Question
Hi, I have a Nissan pulsar vector, 1990, my friend blew the head gasket, we changed all the gaskets and have got the leads on correct again, but now it just wont kick over, we had to remove the timing belt to try and fix the water pump, we had the timing belt marked to be able to put back where it goes, but someone removed it. How do i fix that so i can actually start my car???

Answer
Hi Skye -

The timing belt is probably thrown. You will need to remove it, re-align the damper, camshaft, and dist rotor all to TDC again and then re-assemble.

If you need the timing alignment marks instruction, let me know, and I will email that to you. Don't forget to give me your email.

Hope this helps
