Nissan Repair: 84 Nissan 300zx Idle adjusting, car wont stay on, nissan 300zx, accelerator cable

I am trying to figure out how to adjust the idle, car was running great till we change the spark plugs and accidentally adjusted the idle trying to remove a part. So if you can give me any advice please do, thanks

Hi Jenny -

The idle adjustment can be accessed on the carburetor. Look for the accelerator cable and the lever it is attached to. The idles speed adjusting screw should be connected to that. Clockwise will increase the idle.
