Nissan Repair: power steering belt 1997 nissan truck, center bolt, tensioner pulley

Question
How do I change it? It broke. thank you.

Answer
Hi Jackie -

I believe you have 2 belts on your model. It would be a good idea to replace all of them since they are the same age. One runs the A/C, the other power steering and alternator. There should be a tensioner pulley that you would loosen to get the belt off. Remove the center bolt (I think it is 14MM). and it should move. Sometimes there is an adjustment nut, which makes things a lot easier when installing. Look for a bolt on the side of the pulleys.

Hope this helps -
