Nissan Repair: 1997 Pathfinder Stalls, fuel pressure, fuel pump

Question
I have a 1997 Pathfinder. It stalls frequently while driving and always starts right back up again once I put it into neutral. When he starts to stall it acts like it's running out of gas, sort of sputtering. I took it to a mechanic and they replaced several things such as a belt and the air flow thing and possibly something else but it did not fix the problem. Any suggestions?

I can think of 2 things. First of all, does the car stall when it has warmed up a bit, or even when you first start out?

If it stalls when warmed up, I would check (replace) the ignition module, located in the distributor.

If not, then check the fuel pump for proper operation. You could be losing fuel pressure from a failing pump.

Hope this helps!
