Nissan Repair: Nissan Altima rear seatbelt, rear seatbelt, nissan altima

Question
my rear seatbelts will not pull out to fasten in my children. Can you help me??

Answer
Hi Jerome -

There is nothing else you can do except to replace the seat belt assembly (the side that retracts). It is available from the dealer. Replacement is relatively simple. My advice to all my clients is to not try to take it apart and repair it, as there might be some safety issues later.

The seat belt is usually held down by one big bolt, or several smaller ones. Some use a "TORX" screw, and you can find the bit at any hardware or auto store. I am not able to give you exact info, as I do not have the specs on your vehicle.

Hope this helps
