Nissan Repair: car dying intermittently, first hope, auto store

My car will die after the engine is at operating temp
it happens about every other day I drive it. It will die after driving about 1/2 an hour usley when just running arrons. It will start back up after sitting for 20 to 30 minutes. then may not die again for a day or two. I have replaced the Distributor. dist cap and rotor. spark plugs and plug wires also fuel filter.
would like some other ideas of what it could be. All parts where after market from a local parts store.

Looks like the ignition module is bad. You almost had it, as it is located in the distributor. There are a couple small bolts that attach it to the base of the distributor with a few wires attached to it. When the engine gets hot, it picks up a lot of heat and causes failure. You did not give me any information on your car, however I am assuming location as typical.

I think most auto store may carry this item, so might want to check first.
