Nissan Repair: P0101 code, oxygen sensors, oxygen sensor

Question
I replaced the air filter on my 2001 xterra and about two day later the SES light came on, when I got it checked they said it was the Bank 1 oxygen sensor, I replaced the front oxygen sensors on both sides but the light remains and has for over a week. can i somehow reset the computer, or do i need to replace the ones after the converter also?

Answer
Hi Terry -

Before doing that, try to reset your SES light by taking out the ECM fuse for about 30 seconds and replacing it. You can also do it by disconnecting the battery, but doing so you will have to reset your clock, radio, etc.

Try this and get back to me - sometimes they are nuisance codes.

Hope this helps -
