Nissan Repair: CV joints problem...?, cv joints, cv boots

Question
Hello...again, I feel like such a nuisance around here. So sorry if I ask too many questions. But my car clunks/clinks/makes noise when I turn to the right-only at speeds above 10 mph though. I've checked the CV boots as I thought that they might have cracked letting dirt in there, but they ALL are still looking good and show no signs of cracking anytime soon. My question is, why is there clunking/clinking/or whatever- when ever I turn my car to the right at higher speeds? Will I be better off replacing both axles?(over 150,000 miles on the car)I also live in Wisconsin so this car has been through plenty of salty winters.

Answer
Jefferson,

I would think the strut tower bushings are worn and that is what is causing the noise.  These are what the front struts pivot on when you turn the wheel.  They are cheap but a pain to replace since you have to drop the strut to get access to them and then get the car re-aligned.
