Nissan Repair: Tail Lights too bright, filament bulbs, nissan truck

I recently had Uhaul install a wiring harness to pull a trailer on my 95 Nissan truck.  That was about a month ago.  Now, when I turn on my lights at night the tail lights are as bright as my brake lights when I put on the brakes.  You can barely see the difference in brightness when I engage the brakes.  Checked for bare wires.  Didn't see anything bad.  What could it be?  Thanks

Hi Bob -

First of all, were the bulbs changed? Could be the wrong application from what it calls for. On the 2 filament bulbs it does make a difference.

Secondly, the wiring must be checked. Could be that the connection to the tail light is the wrong connection, and it is going to the wrong lead on the taillight side.
