Nissan Repair: 2 things, 2005 nissan sentra, technical service bulletins

Question
hello, I am having this condition with my 2005 Nissan Sentra S, I am getting residue on all 4 windows and when I lower them,(power) they sometimes stick causing them to jerk when they are being lowered. I talked to the dealer and they said its SUPPOSED to do that, it creates a better seal. I know myself thats BS, how would you handle it? (car is still under factory warranty)
and 2nd, I saw 2 TSBs(technical Service Bulletins for my car that are 2 problems I am having with the car (brake pedal squeaks when depressed and long cranking time at start up) how would you handle this as fas telling the dealer about the TSBs? Thank you very much.

Answer
Hi Mike -

YES YES YES, I would definitely take it back to the dealer and demand that the problems be fixed. I hate how as soon as you drive off that lot, they forget you.

The residue on the window is probably grease, either from lack of clean window seals, or the dealer's weak attempt to lubricate the tracks to try to stop the window from sticking, your current condition.

As far as the TSB - print it out and take it to them. Leave the car with them, and tell them you do not want it back until they fix all the items, and give you documentation that they did so.

Otherwise take them to better business bureau, or check your local "lemon laws". Perhaps you can get another vehicle.

Hope this helps, and good luck
