Nissan Repair: 1994 nissan altima, nissan altima, cold start

it starts up but feels kind of slughs and as soon as i press on the gas it turns off. and if i leave it alone in like a couple hours it will start up and drive fine for awhile well it the ideal runs high. like 1500rpm in netruel.

Hi Martin -

Have you checked your fuel pump?

Are you saying it does not start after it dies off?
If so, try shooting some starting fluid in the intake boot and try re-starting. If it starts, then this is probably your fuel pump.

If it does not start only when it is cold and starts/runs fine when warm, could be the cold start valve.
