Nissan Repair: 1991 Nissan Maxima stalling on reverse, mass air sensor, air intake hose

Today I was backing out of my parking spot and I was about to put the car in drive when my car stalled out. Then I put it in park and put it in drive and it drove fine. Once I reached my destination, I parked and everything and did what I needed to do. Two hours later, I let the car warm up for about a minute, I was leaving and I backed out of my parking spot and I had my foot on the brake to check my mirrors, the car starts to shake and then it stalls out. I start the car again and put the car in reverse and it stalls again, so I start the car one more time and put in it Drive and it drove fine. What is wrong with my car?

First, there are no codes?  By this, I mean that the check engine light is not on.  Therefore, if it dies in reverese would lead me to think there is something acting on the engine while in reverse.  I have seen where the air intake hose between the throttle body and the mass air sensor gets a crack in it and when the car is in reverse it lets unmetered air into the engine and that causes the car to die.  Once it dies and you put in in park it will start right up and stay running unless you put it in reverse again.  Well, that is my first suggestion.  Check the big black airhose for cracks by moving the hose around.  Email me back if there are none.  Oh, make sure the hose clamps are tight on both ends too.
