Nissan Repair: brakes, four wheels, performance brake

Question
i need to bleed the brakes on a 93 nx2000 w/ abs how do i go about this the proper way and is it possible to only bleed the fronts as the rears are functioning normally?

Answer
Justin,

You would need to bleed the brakes all around.  I would use Ford High Performance Brake Fluid that is DOT3 and it is excellent.  Since it is ABS it does not matter which line you start with.  Jack up the car and do a wheel at a time. Press the brake while someone cracks the bleeder screw at the wheel.  While you are still pressing on the pedal close the line.  Let off the brake and then press again and repeat the process until clean fluid comes out.  Keep an eye on the brake fluid level because if it runs out you have to start all over since you have allowed air to enter the system.  Do all four wheels and you are done.
