Nissan Repair: Nissan Maxima V6- 1998 Flashing SES with Shaking engine, mass airflow meter, nissan maxima

My Nissan Maxima was giving a steady SES which would go away upon filling the Gas. But it comes back when the car goes through rough roads. Last week as I was at a light, the car suddently started shaking. During my evening commute, the SES started flashing. It still runs well but shakes a lot on D and P gears. It's calm when on Neutral. I tried raising it while in P and it gives vibrations as I raise more. Please help me diagnose the problem. Is it serious?

From what you have said I would be looking at the coil packs to see if any are defective.  Also, check the harness to the mass airflow meter.  But, first go to Autozone or Checker and get a free code reading of what the SES is storing.  Email me back with the information and we'll proceed from there.
