Nissan Repair: Ignition system problem beyond the coils, nissan dealership, ford dealership

Question
I have 99 Maxima and I got infamous P1320 error. Here is a list of what is been done so far and, please if you have any suggestions for me I would be very appreciative.
First it started as P1320 code and misfire on second cylinder which my mechanic fixed. Than couple weeks after that the same P1320 is back on and SLIP TCS is on as well. This time I didn't have misfire on any of the cylinders. So my mechanic suggested tuneup, which didn't help at all. Than we decided to change all six coils.Nothing changed the Check engine and SLIP TCS lights were still on.Mechanic also checked for any possible fault wire, harness issue. It seem that voltage is there and computer and coils are communicating. So my mechanic is out of ideas and I am afraid to go to Nissan dealership plus soon I have my emission test. Please help !!!

Answer
Dalibor,

The check engine light should have to do with something besides the SLIP TCS system.  Go to Autozone and get the codes read as to what the check engine codes are.  A knock sensor can also throw the P1320 code as I have found this on several Maxima cars.  The SLIP TCS should be resolved by bleeding the brakes with a good brake fluid.  I love Ford High Performance Brake Fluid you can get from a Ford Dealership.  It is DOT3 and will not screw up your TCS or ABS.  Five bucks a can and it takes three.  It has twice the boiling point of regular DOT3 and your brakes will feel great.  I am surprised that the mechanic did not try and sell you a new ABS unit...  It should only take the brakes being purged of all the old fluid and then disconnect the battery for five minutes to clear the code.
