Nissan Repair: 300zx door handle, upper ledge, jobber price

I'm trying to replace my 90 300zx driver side door handle. how do i get my door handle out so i can replace it?

You have to remove the drro panel first.  Get a manual to follow the diagram.  You want to get all the screws out before you pry out the clips and lift the panel off the upper ledge.  Leave the window up to access the two ten millimeter bolts for the door handle.  Also, there is a connector that you will have to disconnect along with the rod that actuates the lock.  The actuator pivot simply prys to the side and the rod comes out.  If you are getting a new door handle it comes with a new clip.  If not be careful as the plastic on old ones are brittle.  Be sure to change the lock out as it should be part of the assembly.  Now would be a good time to lubricate the lock and latch mechanism while you have the panel off and the assembly a part.  courtesynissan.com should have the handle you need.  I hate paying dealer and these guys give you parts at the jobber price with no sales tax, if you do not live in Texas.
