Nissan Repair: Nissan Pulsar 88 N13 Shotcircuit, turn signal switch, temperature gauge

Question
Dear Expert,
I have an electrical problem. My hazard lights don't work.  The same goes for the door light which is in the same fuse. In fact the fuse is blown every time i Put one in. There must be a short somewhere. I notice that when I flick the hazard switch on my blinkers don't work. I found the blinkers'  flasher but my mate reckons that there must be another one somewhere and it must be a separate unit given that is a safety device. Where is it? Will I fix the problem just by replacing it?
Just in case it is related, my tachometer doesn't work either, nor does the temperature gauge. We put voltage through the dashboard temperature gauge and worked. We run a cable from the sensor straight to the gauge and didn't work.
God bless you if you can help me with this.

Answer
Rafael,

The hazard is on a seperate flasher.  If you do not have your flashers on does the fuse blow?  If so, I would be the turn signal switch is blown and that is causing the problem for the circuit.  The headlight switch does many things and the flasher is just one of them.  The temperature sensor needs to be replaced.  As for the tach it could be blown or the resistor wire that feeds that circuit.  Also, on the door switch I would check the pin switches on the door frames to make sure none are shorted on the frame.
