Nissan Repair: 02 Frontier thermostat replacement, coolant level, craftman tools

Question
I'm having overheating issues with my truck.  Coolant level is normal, cooling fan blows, radiator cap replaced.  Checked hoses, seems lower not upper hose connects to thermostat housing.  Lower hose is cool while engine is at operating temperature.  Conclusion reached: bad thermostat.  Housing seems to be in a tight spot.  Any tool recommendations to make this job easier?

Answer
Jarad,

No big issue just a tight fit and regular hand tools.  I like Craftman tools and a good ratchet along with a wrench as a backup.  Purchase a Nissan thermostat since it is the best and lasts longest.  The last one I purchased came with a housing so it was jut unbolt one and install the new one.
