Nissan Repair: charging system, gas gauge, great shape

my car will start and run off the battery alone untill it goes dry (5 to 10 min's),I know my alternator is good,belts are tight and all fuses are good,no wiring problems/shorts. but  still no charge my battery.The alt is new and has been tested to be in great shape,same with battery,I have no inst gauges just the gas gauge is working.HELP

Check the master fuse to the alternator and if that is good check the wire that feeds power from the alternator to the battery to see if it is burnt in two.  From the sounds of it these are the most probable cause of concern if the alternator is good.  Go to Autozone or Checker and they will do a charging test for free...
