what type of trans fluid does a nissan sentra 89 manual trans  take. using the wrong kind cause a  wining noise in the trans ?

Dextron transmission fluid.  Using Ford fluid should not make the transmission make noise.  But, if you did use the wrong fluid I would change it back.  The noise you describe would be the planetary gear set at the back of the clutch drum.  If a fluid change does not do the trick you will need to have it looked into.  Cottman does a good job from my experience.
