Nissan Repair: 1992 Maxima Fuel Injector, sparkplug wire, fuel injector

My 3.0 litre is missing on cylinder 1.  The sparkplug wire shows spark and I changed the plug.  Pulling off the sparkplug wire does not change the way it runs and removing the fuel injector wire makes no difference either.  Is the injector the only other option?  Is it within the average guy's ability to change an injector?  I did one on a Topaz once.

Yes, it does sound like an injector on that cylinder.  But, do a compression check first to see if you have 160 to 180 psi before you do the injector.  If the compression is down on that cylinder you could have ring problems.  But, it is probably the injector...
