Nissan Repair: 1995 Nissan Wiper, wiper arms, side arm

While using the wipers on my 1995 Sentra the drivers side wiper flipped to the left and stopped working.  The passenger side wiper kept working.  Any ideas on what to look for to fix this.

yup, used to happen to me all the time.  you need to take off the plastic (or metal) piece that is between your hood and your windshield. behind this is your wiper arms and center linkage.  it sounds to me like the driver side arm has popped from the center part.  if this is connected, recheck your nuts on the wiper to see if they are tight.  i love my Nissans, but they make some sloppy wiper designs.  good luck and e-mail me your results. xxp_sebby@yahoo.com
