Nissan Repair: 95 Altima not starting, air control valve, coolant temp

Question
Yesterday, I started '95 altima and after 5 sec. it stalled and can not be restarted. Tested fuel and electrics (distributor, rotor and cap are all good) with good voltage. Got a engine code 25 which is IAV valve I believe. Will that prevent the car from starting? How should I fix the starting problem?

Answer
im not sure on engine code 25.  i did some research and any codes with 25 in it have to relate to the ect sensor (engine coolant temp sensor), which is also on the intake manifold as with the iacv (idle air control valve).  press and hold the gas pedal about 1/4-1/2 the way and try to start it.  if it starts and stalls, then you may have to replace the iacv, or take off the throttle and clean out everything with an intake cleaner.  if you have to replace the sensor, its located right above the thermostat housing.  good luck with this and let me know if it helps! xxp_sebby@yahoo.com
