Nissan Repair: transmission question, nissan alitma, recommended interval

hi I have a 2006 nissan alitma 2.5 s i wanted to know when should i change my transmission fluid?? right now my car has 16,000 miles.

There are two lines of thought on changing the transmission fluid.  The manual has the recommended interval and there are those that change it every 25000 miles.  I do the 25000 miles myself.  But, if you are just doing the warranty thing follow the service interval in your manual.
