hi i have an 88 nissan pulsar and the car runs nice but when i put it in drive the car will run after i start to decelerate sometimes the engine will die, also sometime when i give the car gas its like im taping the gas and it makes the car jerk even thought i have my foot constantly on the gas i can have it floored and it like gives gas and stop gas then stop

It sounds like the distributor is screwing up. It probably has oil on the optics that tell the computer when to fire the plugs.  The cutting out and on leads me to this conclusion.  Remove the cap, rotor, rotor post and cover and check the shutter wheel and optics for oil.  If there is oil replace with a rebuilt distributor.  If not email me back and we will look further.
