THE LAST FEW DAYS MY WIFES 2002 ALTIMA 2.5S HAS BEEN HAVING A HARD START CONDITION COLD-EXCESSIVE CRANK TIME,PRESS ON GAS WILL START THEN STALL,FLOOR IT AND IT WILL START.OUTSIDE TEMP HAS BEEN BELOW 20 DEGREES.RECALL WAS PERFORMED A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO

Yes, the recall was performed and the problem still is there.  I would perform a complete tuneup to include plugs (Nippondenso or NGK) platinum.  Use Lucas gas treatment.  Nissan does not recommend gas treatments and Lucas is the only one that I have found that works to clean out the injectors without causing damage.  The other option is a block heater that Nissan sells.
