Nissan Repair: 97 Sentra GXE turns over and wont start??, fuel pressure gauge, sentra

I have a 97 Sentra gxe, it turns over normally but will not fire. If I continue to crank it, sounds as if it wants to start but still fails. I believe my fuel pump is ok because I can hear the relay when the key is turned.

You will need to check for spark by pulling a plug and checking for spark against the engine.  Have someone crank it while you hold the wire, with a paper clip insterted close the the metal on the engine.  No spark and I would be looking at the distributor.  If you have spark get a fuel pressure gauge and see if you have pressure.  Just hearing the relay does not mean the pump is pushing enough fuel to keep the car running.  Also, does the check engine light come on?
