Nissan Repair: 95 altima: car cranks but wont start, dashboard lights, fuel pump relay

Question
Hi,yesterday i was driving my car (95 altima, 159,000m)and as i was driving she cut off.  Dashboard lights came on.  As she was rolling to a stop, i threw it in neutral, turned the key, and back on it came.  Everything was fine for the rest of the day until later that night.  (Around 6 hours after the 1st cut off) As i began to drive, it cuts off again, dashboard lights again.  Only this time, she cranks fine but wont turn over.  All lights work.  Spark plugs were fine.  She had a tune up less than a year ago.  Didn't have any rough idleing, no tranny slips. I read a lot of the other questions and asked a few friends and i keep thinking "timing belt".  Hope not but what do u say?  Keep in mind i use my car a lot for my delivery job, so a lot of, local driving.

Answer
Pierre,

Since it died and came back I am going to discount thte timing belt.  It could be the fuel pump or fuel pump relay since it did come back after it died the first time.  I would check The distributor for spark and oil on the optical pickup as well as for fuel pressure.  Even though things get high tech it is usually the little things like not getting spark or the fuel pressure cutting out.
