Nissan Repair: 280zx cassette deck, google search, sun valley california

I am the original owner of an '83. One...I need a new quarter panel(passenger side) for it. Do you have any leads.
Secondly, my cassette deck does the following when I put a tape in. It just continually autoreverses.Click...click...click..., with the arrows switching direction. Before, it used to occassionally speed up when I first put a tape in and I'd have to eject and reload and it was fine.
What do you suspect is the problem. Do I have to have someone fix it or can I do it. If not, who would you recommend. Tnanks Bruce

Sweeks in San Deigo has sheet metal parts and there is another Z wrecking yard in Sun Valley California.  But, the name escapes me.  I suppose you could do a google search for the part.  The black rubber band in the deck is broken and needs to be replaced.  This is what drives the capstan and pinchwheel.  If you take the unit out you can replace it yourself if you can find a speciality shop to purchase the part from.  There are several on the internet to choose from or you could go to a local shop if you have one in your area.
