Nissan Repair: 1990 300ZX Engine light, 300zx engine, autozone

Question
I just had all six fuel injectors replaced after two were dtermined to be bad. The car has run flawless for the last 3,000 miles when the check engine light reappeared again. The car seems to running fine. I checked the gas cap which appears to be the problem with some of the engine lights but that didn't do the trick. Does the engine light have to be turned off or does it automatically reset? If it is not the gas cap or fuel injectors any suggestions?

Thanks

Answer
Gary,

I would take the car to Autozone or Checker and have the light checked to see what the problem is.  If it has to do with evaporative control it could be the gas cap and it could be an old fuel or vapor line.  Check it out and then fix the problem.  Email me back with what you find.  Autozone or Checker will check and clear the codes for free.
