hi dinger i have a problem the other day my battery light was showing along with my abs light. so i checked the voltage coming from the alternator and this was ok so i changed the battery.this resolved it until the next day when there was no power.so i replaced the alternator and still the battery light is on and the abs.
the car will run with jump leads from another direct to the primera but when i remove the leads all lights show again and the car dies. please help ady

Replace the alternator. How did you determine your alternator was fine? Silly! It's dead as a door nail.  When you check an alternator or battery problem, it's easy. Start the car, disconnect the battery with everything on, a/c, radio, lights on highbeam, etc... If the car dies, replace the alternator, if it continues to run, get a battery! The reason it runs while jumped is because it's using the other cars juice to run your car. After you jump your car, it will run for awhile until the car has used up the little charge that your battery got from the jump. Let me know how this works out!
