Nissan Repair: 91 Nissan 240SX Electrical System, nissan 240sx, high beams

I have recently aquired a 91' Nissan 240SX with Silvia front end conversion.After a better look at the car i disciver its light are all messed up.The dash meters and gauges work fine except they have no lights at night.The head lights only the high beams work.As far as tail lights I am almost positvie they are fine.My question is I think this is all a sypmtom of the previous owner not switching to american wires after the conversion,What do you think?If I am right can you perhaps tell me where to go and fix it?I have no clue about its electrical system and dont want to cause further damage.

I bet the combination switch has failed.  That is the one that does the blinkers and headlights.  If the dash lights still do not work after you replace the combination switch the dimmer switch on the dash will have to be replaced too.  But, I know that the combination switch is gone out for sure.
