Nissan Repair: maxima 95 engine shakes, optical pickup, engine mounts

the car shakes and it fills like its going to stop but it doesnt. it keeps vibrating from hard to soft. help me out bro.

If the engine is shaking it is probably a miss resulting from a bad plug or plug wire.  There is the remote possibility that the distributor is going out due to oil on the optical pickup.  But, the distributor would be something like killing the engine and popping back on.  And, that usually occurs while you are driving.  I would change the plugs and wires, cap and rotor first.  Then checkk it out again.  Be sure to check what the plugs look like when you take them out and note which cylinder they came out of.  If one or two are really black that means that the injector for that cylinder is stuck open and running really rich and that would cause the engine shake too.  If the engine is running fine and the engine shakes the engine mounts could be gone since the car is 11 years old that is a good possibility too.  Check these things out and email me back.  But, if it were me I would do the tuneup as a baseline to know where you are going with resolving the shake.
