Nissan Repair: 93 Pathfinder has no power, air inlet hose, mass airflow sensor

Question
I have been trying to fix my brothers 93 pathfinder.  It is a v6 5/sp.  It starts fine, idles fine. There were no problems until the clutch was replaced.  Shortly afterwards, the truck could not pull itself uphill.  Top speed is approx 50 mph and takes about a mile to get up to speed.  If floored, the motor falls on it's face.  Back out of the throttle a bit and it evens out.  I was thinking it was fuel related.  But there seems to be plenty of pressure on the fuel line, checked before it gets to the regulator.  Would a bad regulator cause this type of problem?

Answer
Boss,

Check the air inlet hose and the mass airflow sensor along with the clamps and other hoses.  When the clutch was replaced the engine probably leaned back and busted a hose loose.  I have seen this before.  When you take the transmission out there is nothing to hold the back of the engine and it leans back.  Not the regulator.
