Nissan Repair: Maxima half shaft replacement, spindle hub, shaft replacement

How much is involved in replacing the halfshafts on a '96 Maxima?  The car has 144k on it but still runs well.  Any special tools required?  Anywhere that you know online that shows a detailed procedure?

You will need an alignment when you take the tire, brake caliper, rotor, strut and tie rod off to get the CV joint out.  You will need a large socket for the nut and beyone that it is plug and play.  But, if the CV is stuck on the spindle hub you will have to press it out.  If you do not have the tools you should take it to a shop that will do the alignment too.
