Hi Ross -

The valve lash adjustment specification should be under the hood on the engine sticker.  I cannot get the specs here as we do not have that model in the US. If not I do not have the specifications and it would probably be in the owners manual.  First get a new valve cover gasket and take yours off.  Then get a feeler gauge and I bet it is something like .012 to .013 hot lash adjustment.  You have to rotate the engine until you are on the low lobe to adjust that valve.  If the valve is opening you will get a bad reading since it will have zero lash with a load on it.  So, look as you turn the engine over slowly and you will see when that particular valve closes.
