Nissan Repair: MY 87 NISSAN MAXIMA KEEPS CUTTING OFF, nissan maxima, fuel filter

I HAVE AN 87 NISSAN MAXIMA. IT HAS BEEN CUTTING OFF AND HAVING TROUBLE STARTING LATELY. I PUT AN NEW FUEL FILTER ON IT AND A NEW IGNITION RELAY ON IT. ITS GETTING GAS TO THE RAILS BUT IT WILL RUN FOR A FEW MINUTES AND STOP. AS OF LAST NIGHT THOUGH I CANT GET IT TO CRANK UP. I HAVE KNOW IDEA WHAT IT COULD BE. ALL THE FUSES ARE GOOD ALSO. If it cuts off it is probably the ignition module or the distributor leaking oil up into the optical shutter wheel.  Check the distributor by taking the cap, rotor, rotor post and cover off and you will see the shutter wheel.  There is an led that gets oil on it as well as the pickup.
