Nissan Repair: fuel gauge, fuel gauge, sendor

sorry to be a a pain just wanted to no how to fix a doggy fuel gauge?

You need to see if it is the sendor or the gauge.  Take the tank down and ground the fuel sending line while the key is on and see if the gauge jumps to full.  If it does then it is the sendor if not it should be the gauge.  You can source parts at the wrecking yard, a parts store or rockauto.com or courtesynissan.com.  These are the ways I go to get the best price.  Sometimes the wrecking yard want too much so you check with the local stores and if you can wait you can order on-line.
