Nissan Repair: power window again, waterproof barrier, suction cup

Question
Mr. Von,

I am still experiencing a problem with the window to the front passenger side. I've ordered a replacement motor but upon reading the instructions that came with the new motor. The instructions dictates, the window has to be in the upright position to provide the needed room for replacing the power window motor.   The panel has been removed. The waterproof barrier has been partially removed to enable access and visual. The  battery has been de-energized.

Appreciative,

Liushao

Answer
Liushao,

You will need to unbolt the window from the tracks to get the window to the top and out of the way so you can change the window motor.  A helper comes in great here unless you have a large suction cup that you can use to hold the window up.  Simply change out the motor and plug it in and then bolt the glass back up.
