Nissan Repair: No Reverse, nissan pathfinder, clutch

I have a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder with the same problem you had.  Everything works but reverse.  How were you able to fix your problem?  Dd you have to replace the whole tranny? Any information willbe helpful.  Thanks.

This is the reverse clutch or band if you have an automatic.  If it is a standard then you need to replace the gear.  No, you do not have to replace the whole transmission but you do need to replace the part and that requires taking the transmission out of the vehicle.  You are looking at something like $1500 bucks parts and labor.
