Would a bad tps on my truck cause the engine to run rough.has a  hesitation on take off and doesn;t run smooth,while driving.          i unhooked tps and it runs the same

No, the TPS would not cause the problem.  However, a tuneup would help and be sure to check the air intake hose from the air meter to the intake to see that it is not cracked or loose.  Unmetered air will cause the running rough condition.  Also, bad injectors would cause the problem too.
